Even if it's a distant online friend, find other people that can assist and help keep you accountable to your own goals. Make sure your online hold'em poker friends know what your goals are. If other poker players are checking in with you and asking frequently how online hold'em poker is going, it's going to motivate you to want to have good reports to give back to them. Make sure to ask how your friends are doing as well, and make it a mutually beneficial relationship.
