I have also succeeded in finding hand made pottery in Dumpsters that I used as a vase for the flowers I found in a florist’s Dumpster. Together, the vase and the flowers, formed a lovely gift for a friend in the hospital. A filthy area rug was found that looked horrible, but after a power washing it was found to be in perfect condition and now rests on my dining room floor. Some people are incredibly wasteful. One time, while looking into a Dumpster, I found a carton of still warm French fries, half of a carton. What sort of wasteful individual throws away good food? And this was found outside an office complex, three blocks from the fast food restaurant. What were these people thinking?
