Practice Matters
button:
button: A white plastic disk (button) indicating the dealer’s position at the table. Being on the button means the dealer for betting purposes, the last the act. In Texas Hold’em, Omaha, etc. having the button position is a positional advantage. button seat: The seat at the table showing the button.
call:
call: Matching a previous bet by another player. capped: Achieving the maximum number of bets and raises allowed in a single round of betting. Once the betting has been capped, no more betting is allow in the round. come-in bet: (1) A bet. (2) A bet made on the first round of betting.
