One other factor needs to be taken into account, when determining implied odds. That is, the size of the chip stacks of the online players in the hand. The larger the chip stacks, the greater the potential implied odds.
You wouldn't want to call a large bet
You wouldn't want to call a large bet pre-flop, with a small pocket pair if you or your opponent has less than 8 times the bet. You wouldn’t want to make a call with only a 1 in 8 chance of flopping a set, if the most you could win, is less than 8 times the bet.
