Should a player fail to have enough money or chips to cover other player's bets, he is permitted to play for the pot (see Tapping Out under Additional Rules at Five Card Stud that follow).
Freeze-out At the beginning of the game, each player puts up an equal amount of cash or chips on the table before him. He is not permitted to add to this amount, take any of it off the table or lend any part of it to any other player at any time. As soon as a player loses the original amount placed on the table, he must withdraw from the game entirely. The surviving players continue play until one player has won all the cash or chips on the table.
