In Nevada Online Hold'em Poker rooms, only the house dealer shuffles, cuts, and deals the game. Players are not permitted to cut the deck. A button (a chip marked "button") is moved around from player to player in clockwise sequence to identify the imaginary dealer in all games. In Draw games, the button bets and acts last, while in Stud games it is merely used to determine who gets the first card dealt. After each betting interval and before the next card or cards are dealt for the following betting interval, the house dealer burns the top card of the deck. The betting limits, rules of play, percentage of rake-off (amount extracted from a pot by the house dealer) and irregularities and penalties extracted differ only slightly in most Nevada casinos.
