An honest kibitzer
An honest kibitzer is one who after having folded his own hand peeks into his once-opponent's hand or takes a peek at his hole card. Even though the opposition may be stupid enough to give him permission to look at his cards, the practice should be prohibited because it leads to a possible tip-off of a player's hand accidentally or purposely. Example: Suppose you have a weak hand at the time the kibitzer looks at it. The kibitzer is inclined to lose interest, which can give an observant opponent vital information. Or, if you hold a cinch hand, the kibitzer's reaction can also easily be read by an observant opponent.
