111. Follow the Queen In this game, which is also called Follow the Lady, the card following the last queen turned face up on the table is wild, as are all of the same rank. If the last card turned up to an active player is a queen, then nothing is wild. The cards may be dealt as in Seven Card Stud: three down, four up; or the first two cards may be dealt down and the remaining five may be turned face up. The latter method is usually preferred, and there is a betting interval after each face-up card round. This game is most interesting since the wild card may change several times during the game, each time a queen is turned up, and there is always a possibility that nothing will be wild, should a queen be exposed on the last card dealt. In this game there can never be more than four wild cards in play.
112. Follow the King Also called Follow the Cowboy, this game is played in the same manner as Follow the Queen, except that the card following the last exposed king is wild, as are all of the same rank. If the last card exposed to an active player is a king, then nothing is wild.
