Don’t play poker if you have a lot on your mind, good things or bad. You must be able to focus on the rhythm of the game and on the actions of the other players in order to play properly. (5) Don’t be afraid to lay down a possible winning hand. (6) Check-raise the flop to get free cards. (7) Play tight if the pot has been raised and the raiser is not in a steal position.
