Casino Texas Hold'em Poker: Tournament Play. A large sign indicated a Texas Hold’em poker tournament billed as a $100,000 Winterfest. No entry fee was required, as it was a “freeroll” tournament. I thought that it would be fun to play in a big money tourney. I recently learned to play Texas Hold’em, having read several books, reviewed videotapes, sat in games next to a poker “teacher,” and I had 10 hours of experience playing against professional players.
