Final round of betting: You, high hand, bet $5. You look at your opponent expecting to see him fold his cards. He casually looks back at you and raises $5! What do you do? Call $5, raise back $5, or fold your hand?
Hidden Thought: After the first three cards, your opponent Player 5, an “expert” online hold'em poker player, bet $2. This player most commonly bets $5 on early rounds with Big Pairs (Aces and Kings) to limit his competition. His bet of only $2 indicates he may have a “drawing hand,” a hand hoping to draw to a Straight or to a Flush. At this point you feet confident, you most likely have the best starting hand and the remaining players are going to need to improve their hands to beat you.
