A pat seven high or eight high is a good hand to open, raise or reraise, since the chances of your opponent's catching a pat six high to beat you are 1 in 637 and his chances of catching a seven high are 1 in 182. A good pat ten high (10-6-4-3-2) is worth opening with in certain situations. A pat jack, queen or king high may be a possible one-card draw hand.
