Some of the gamblers and race and sports bookies Rothstein introduced me to were George McManus (alias Humphreys), who was the big-time dice book at Warren's, which operated a $2,000-limit Open Craps game in a West Side warehouse several blocks from Lindy's; Meyer and Sam Boston, two brothers who operated Darnell and Company, a Wall Street brokerage firm that was actually a front for their big-time race and sports book; Martin Bowe, a big-time race bookmaker, Texas Hold'em Poker player and close friend of Jimmy Meehan, a gambler who ran a Texas Hold'em Poker game in his apartment.

As a result of my conversations with Rothstein and the above mentioned gamblers I learned of Meehan's nightly Online Hold'em Poker game, which was patronized by many Broadway gamblers, journalists, show people and businessmen. Meehan ran his Online Hold'em Poker games in his three-room apartment situated in the Congress Building on the corner of Fifty-fourth Street and Seventh Avenue.
