21. High-Low Draw Texas Hold'em Poker We now turn our attention to High-Low Draw Texas Hold'em Poker, the game that my research reveals to be the first Texas Hold'em Poker game that gave both holders of high- and low-ranking hands equal opportunity to share the pot. In this five-card game each player can make either a low hand or a high hand, but not both. The rules of play for this Texas Hold'em Poker variation are the same as those for standard Draw Texas Hold'em Poker with the following exceptions.
1. Two to eight players may participate. However, six to eight make for the best game. 2. The high- and low-rank hands split the pot. The rank of high cards is the same as regular Draw Online Hold'em Poker, and the perfect low hand is a sixty-four (6-4-3-2-A) of mixed suits. For a detailed description of the ranks of low Online Hold'em Poker hands, see General Rules for Poker, pages 43-45. 3. Players may draw from one to five cards. 4. A player can open on any hand (jacks or better are not required), and no high or low announcement is made. Cards decide at the show down.
