Once this voluntary straddle is made, then each succeeding blind player may straddle by betting double the previous bet. Usually the number of voluntary straddles is limited to four.
After the last straddle, each player may look at his hand. At his proper turn of play, each player, beginning with the player to the left of the last straddler, must either fold or bet. The first player to act must either fold or raise the last straddler's bet by an amount equal to the last straddler's bet.
