25. Seven Card High-Low Draw Texas Hold'em Poker Played the same as Laino High-Low Roll Em Over, with the following exceptions. After the ante has been made each player is dealt seven cards face down one at a time in rotation to the left. This is followed by a betting interval in which any amount up to the maximum limit can be wagered. After the first betting interval, each remaining player passes three cards to the player at his left, and in turn receives three cards from the player at his right. Each active player next discards two cards, making his best five-card high hand or his best five-card low hand. Then, starting with the leader, each player, in rotation to the left, rolls a card (turns it face up and places it on the table in front of him), and a betting interval takes place. Each player may turn up any four of his five cards, but he must, of course, always have one card face down. Three additional cards are rolled, each followed by a betting interval. After the last betting interval, the declaration for high, low, or high and low follows.
You're a sure loser if you don't remember the cards you passed and the cards you received. If the player to your left plays and you passed him nine, ten or king of mixed suits, he must be holding at least one of your passed cards among the five he plays, and under such conditions cannot be playing for low regardless of what cards he rolled over at the start. On the other hand, if you received three low cards from the player on your right, the chances are very good that he is playing for high. This game is tricky, and many unusual situations develop during the rollover. So play with caution.
