In Draw Texas Hold'em Poker, recent attempts have been made by several mathematicians to make use of a point count card system to aid the player in determining whether or not he should open on the draw. I've analyzed this system thoroughly and have found it to be ridiculous and unworkable—but these mathematicians seldom give up, and I believe that in the very near future they'll add a point count card system to Texas Hold'em Poker and swear on a stack of Bibles that it will beat the top pros in the world.
Speaking of point count card systems brings to mind today's countless so-called winning Black Jack systems being sold to the gullible and unsuspecting public. The reason for the continuous sale of these worthless Black Jack systems is that casino bosses work in cahoots with the so-called card counters by "supposedly" barring them from their casinos. It's good for casino business because it brings millions of Black Jack suckers to the casinos believing that the game of Black Jack can be easily beaten and it makes money for the so-called card counters by the sale of their worthless systems.
