Wild Widow This game, also known as Pig in the Poke, is a variation of Spit in the Ocean. However, in this game, only three cards are considered wild. Four cards are dealt in the usual way face down to each player, and after each player has received his four cards, the next card (community card) is dealt face up onto the center of the table. The three remaining cards of the same numerical value as this exposed card are wild and can be used by the players to represent any cards they desire. However, the face-up community card on the table is not wild; it is used simply as an indicator card.
One Community Card There is a betting interval; then a fifth card is dealt face down to each active player. This is followed by another betting interval and a showdown. (To repeat, the community card in the center of the table is not counted as part of any player's hand. It simply denotes the rank of the three remaining wild cards.)
