Practice Matters
Limping in:
Limping in: You and one other holdem player limp in. The two blinds also come in. There is now a total of $20 in the pot and you are up against 3 opponents. If none of your three opponents out flop you and you take the pot down on the flop, you win $15. $20 (pot) - $5 (your bet)
Raising Pre-Flop:
Raising Pre-Flop: You Raise the pot, pre-flop to $15. One other holdem player calls and the blinds fold. There is now $37 in the pot and you are up against just one opponent.
