Following are listed several best two-way hands: A-A and 5 or lower, A-A-6 or lower, A-A-7 or lower and A-A-8 or lower, three small cards 5 or below, three small cards 6 or below.
Following are just a few of the countless unplayable starting hands found in High-Low Split. Any three-card starting hand that possesses two paints should not be played even if all three cards are suited. Whenever you play a hand with a paint in it, more often than not you'll be playing a six-card hand against your opponents' seven. If you follow the strategy rules listed above, your High-Low Split game will be greatly improved.
