Luck does happen in some strange patterns and you may find that some cards come up more often than others, in a given time period. For almost 2 full years, I could not lose with pocket nines. A famous professional holdem player won two major tournaments with 10 2. The trick is to know when to give up on your "lucky" hand. It may win for a while, but once the luck runs out on this hand, stop playing it, for the sole reason of trying to relive the glory.

Any Two Cards Ever hear a holdem player, usually, in a $1 - $2 game, make the claim "I will see a flop with any two cards, for $2?" Granted $1 - $2 Texas Hold'em is a flop game, in that online players like to see a lot of flops in hope of flopping big and raking in a big pot. But, is it really wise to play almost ever hand with any two cards?
