We can all agree that big pocket pairs
We can all agree that big pocket pairs are good starting hands, and may be a big favorite to win, but they may not be the best hands to win large pots with. Starting hands like small pairs or suited connectors, may not win as often as pocket Aces, but when they win, they often win much larger pots.
The goal in poker is not to win
The goal in online holdem poker is not to win a lot of pots, but to win a lot of chips. It is much better to win a few, large pots, than to win a lot of small pots.
