When you are dealt a big pocket pair bet it, pre-flop. It is almost always a mistake to slow play them. Make your opponents pay to see the flop. Don't give them a chance to see a cheap flop that may give them a better hand than you.

If you slow play big pairs it will be likely that you will only win a small pot, when you win, but face the strong possibility of losing a large one, if you lose.
