Queens Pocket Queens is the third best starting hand and most of the time, play pre-flop, much the same as Kings or Aces. At a full table, if you have pocket Queens, there is only about an 8 % chance that another holdem player will have Kings or Aces. About once every 12 or 13 times. If you have pocket Queens, you can feel relatively sure that they are the best hand, pre-flop. Again, I would not try to slow play the Queens for the same reason as I shown for pocket Kings.
if you slow play pocket Queens it will be much more difficult, post flop, to know if another holdem player is slow played pocket Kings or Aces. If you raise, pre-flop and no one re-raises, you can feel confident that you have the best hand. But, if another holdem player re- raises you, you now have some valuable information.
